The Nissan Frontier has been around for over a decade. A spartan interior and bare-bones powertrain make the current truck feel old, yet somehow charming in its classic style. The 2018 Frontier PRO-4X is powered by a 24-valve, 4.0-litre V6. This engine is built from a lightweight aluminum block and packs an impressive 261 horsepower and 281 lb-ft of torque. And that’s precisely what gives Frontier PRO-4X the ability to tow your ski boat or a trailer full of quads. The Frontier PRO-4X delivers the perfect combination of efficiency and power.

The Frontier PRO-4X carries over into 2018 with some minor changes. Among other things, the base model includes more standard features such as smartphone app integration, SiriusXM Traffic, a Bluetooth hands-free phone system, and the Nissan Navigation System with a 5.8-inch colour touchscreen display and voice recognition.

As always, the Frontier PRO-4X can be used for multiple purposes including towing, hauling, and off-roading. The 2018 Frontier PRO-4X is outfitted with Bilstein off-road shock absorbers that are designed to meet the demands of all your urban and off-road adventures.

For those rougher rides, the strength and durability of the oil pan and fuel tank skid plates protect the undercarriage of your Frontier PRO-4X. For even more protection, you can take advantage of the transfer case skid plate. All the while you’ll be sitting in stylized comfort with the embroidered cloth seat trim. Both the driver and front passenger are treated to the luxury of heated seats. View our inventory.

The 2018 Nissan Frontier PRO-4X has a 4-wheel anti-lock braking system (ABS) plus electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD) that senses additional weight, whether it’s a full cargo bed or a full tank of gas, and sends extra force to the rear brakes when needed.

Hill start assist will help keep you from rolling backwards when starting on steep hills from a stop. In order to allow enough time for you to switch from the brake pedal to the accelerator, it maintains the brake pressure for a few seconds. When driving downhill, you can access hill descent control by flipping the switch and easing your foot from the accelerator—this system helps to provide a controlled descent by automatically maintaining speed and brake pressure.

The Frontier PRO-4X is an ultimate off-roader with decent driving dynamics. Just flip the switch to activate the electronic locking rear differential. This feature distributes power equally to each rear wheel in order to boost traction and keep you moving forward.

With a Utili-track Channel System with 4 tie-down cleats, a locking tailgate, and a cargo bed light, the 2018 Nissan Frontier PRO-4X is also suited for use as an affordable work truck. Enjoy the convenience of remote keyless entry while knowing that the anti-theft system and immobilizer key system will help secure your Frontier PRO-4X while you’re away.
